External: Ovate body; very large mantle covers entire dorsum; mantle gray and covered with papillae and blotches; cephalic shield on <1/3 mantle length, and horseshoe-shaped groove present; pneumostome in posterior half of mantle (Schileyko 2003).
Interior: Small radular teeth (for the family); very thin, rudimentary jaw; throat 1/4 body length and connected to a line of retentor muscles; penis spindle-shaped; penial retractor muscle attached to apex of penis; two longitudinal pilasters covered with papillae in penis; ampullae not observed in penis; no penial sheath; rounded spermatheca with thin, short duct; glandular tissue surrounds vagina and basal spermatheca duct; short atrium (Schileyko 2003).
