Leidyula kraussii (Ferussac, 1823)
Leidyula floridana and L. moreleti.
External: Wide-bodied slug; gray to dark brown body with fine, coarse dark reticulations in skin; gray blotches on hyponotum; light longitudinal stripe on mid-dorsum; dark upper tentacles and lighter, thick lower tentacles; hyponotum lighter than notum; narrow or no longitudinal dark bands on hyponotum; finely tuberculate skin (Burch & Van Devender, 1980).
Internal: Large glans on penial verge; almost apical opening and two small ridges spiraling around apex on penis (Burch & Van Devender, 1980); spermatheca ovate with short duct; vagina with large accessory bursa (Baker 1925).
Looks very similar to L. floridana and L. moreleti (Thomé 1989).
Alive to 38 mm long, 15 mm wide, 5.5 mm wide sole, female opening 22.5 mm from anterior and 1 mm from sole (Baker 1925).
Haiti, Jamaica (Thomé et al. 1997).
Introduced to US (Burch & Van Devender, 1980).
Type Locality: Antilles (Burch & Van Devender, 1980).
