Biology:
Two to three species are in the genus (Schileyko 2002).
Morphology:
Internal: Epiphallus twisted around penis; long, worm-like caecum on epiphallus, and flagellum on apex of penis; penis short with a small verge inside; sheath around penis and lower epiphallus; fairly long oviduct, entering atrium+dart sac at their apex; spermatheca irregular in shape and with a short duct; vagina long, wide and thick-walled, with tubercles on inner surface; long dart sac present w/o darts, usually w/ retractor muscles; (Verdcourt & Polhill 1961; Schileyko 2002).
Distribution:
Kenya, Tanzania (E Africa) (Schileyko 2002).
