Red List Spain: Sensitive to habitat change (Gómez Moliner et al. 2001).
Copulation lasts for at least 2 hours. The individuals bend in a C placing to the right side of the partner, copulatory organs are everted, and two funnel-shaped stimulators are visible.
External: Slug brown or blackish, becoming lighter downwards to the sides, with two dark colour bands on the sides and the mantle (right one arching above pneumostome) with a white line above them; colour bands are visible in brown but hardly in black individuals; skin tubercles unusually thick; foot-fringe grey with black interruptions; mucus gland white; sole white or yellow.
Internal: Epiphallus longer than vas deferens; epiphallus, spermatheca duct and free oviduct join the atrium on a single line, the epiphallus being in the middle; spermatheca spherical or ovoid.
Size: Up to 45 mm long (preserved).
