Arion (Mesarion) gilvus Torres, 1925
Morphology:
External: Slug yellowish brown on dorsum, getting lighter downwards at the sides, with a central black band and dark lateral bands with a yellowish grey line on their upper side (also on mantle, the right one arching above the pneumostome); skin tubercles fine; foot-fringe yellow without interruptions; sole white or evenly yellowish; mucus pale yellow.
Internal: Epiphallus is longer than vas deferens; epiphallus, spermatheca duct and free oviduct join the atrium on a single line, epiphallus being in the middle.
Size:
Size: Up to 65 mm long (preserved 40 mm).
Distribution:
E Spain (Cataluña).
Type Locality: Spain: Tarragona, "Mandol" (= Serra de Pandols).
Habitat:
Prefers forests, also in citrus cultivations.
