Distribution:

E Causacus region to NW Iran and central Asia.

Type Locality: near Samarkand, Uzbekistan (Wiktor 2000).

Habitat:

Hydrophilous, living close to water sources in forests and open habitats; found in leaf litter.

Life cycle:

Reproduction probably in autumn and spring; life cycle about a year.
