Fast-moving (Wiktor 1983).
External: Narrow-bodied; gray-black to black, lighter on sides; blue band along midline of dorsum; blackish head and neck; keel along 1/3 of dorsum; clear C-shaped groove in mantle; fine grooves in thin skin; cream sole; clear mucus (Wiktor 1983, 2000).
Internal: All ducts (oviduct, vas deferens, spermatheca duct) long and thin; cylindrical or club-shaped penis without stimulator or appendix; folds inside penis; fine penial retractor muscle, joining apex of penis beside the vas deferens; small, ovate spermatheca, with spermatheca+duct is 2x penis length; curving, thick tubular oviduct; no intestinal coecum (Wiktor 1983, 2000).
Differs from K. melanocephalus: slimmer body, finer wrinkles, darker back, lighter neck, much longer genital ducts. Differs from K. hoplites: very similar, but soft rather than hard structures in penis.
Preserved: 45 mm long, mantle to 15 mm long (Wiktor 1983).
Mountain forests to 1500 m altitude; beech, hornbeam, and oak forest; sometimes active on tree trunks, in leaf litter or under stones (Wiktor 1983, 2000).
