Deroceras (Deroceras) melinum Wiktor and Mylonas, 1981
Morphology:
External: Slug colour creamy, dark spots on the mantle; dorsum behind mantle and sides are covered with spots forming a reticulate pattern; no dark pigment on middle of dorsum and keel.
Internal: Penis elongated with different swellings, with a bent appendix; penial gland relatively thick, with papillae; stimulator narrow and flat, tongue-like (its one side sunk); rectal caecum like a shallow pocket.
Size:
Up to 24 mm long, mantle 10 mm long (preserved).
Distribution:
Greece: islands of Mílos, Políegos and Kímolos.
Type Locality: Greece: Milos island, Nichia.
