Limax squamosus Bérenguier 1900
Morphology:
External: Slug yellow with interrupted dark brown lateral bands; keel prominent and yellowish; mantle yellowish with oval black spots; foot whitish with yellowish margin.
Internal: Shell long and very narrow; penis cylindrical; vas deferens very long; spermatheca oval.
Differs from L. maximus in its yellowish bordered foot and narrow shell. .
Size:
Up to 150 mm long.

Habitat:
In high mountains, where it replaces Limax maximus.
