Limax lachensis Bérenguier, 1900
External: Slug reddish, becoming pale yellow down to the sides, with black spots on dorsal side, simulating two lateral and one medial lines; mantle rounded in anterior part, finely black spotted, finely concentrically striated; sole evenly yellowish white with orange red margin; sole mucus colourless, body mucus reddish orange.
Internal: Shell subtriangular and shiny, very slightly convex at upper side, concave at lower side, distinctly concentrically striated, nucleus in posterior section, margin translucent; penis long and massive; spermatheca pear-shaped with short duct.
External apppearence like Limax maximus, shell like Limax cinereoniger. More research is necessary to clarify its classification, the description of the genitalia is from the 1930s and certainly insufficient.
Size: 120-150 mm long, shell 11-13 x 7-8 mm.
