Conservation status:
Endemic species of Eolian islands.
Morphology:
External: Slug whitish, sometimes yellowish with reddish hue, covered with irregular black spots on the upper and lateral side and mantle, but not on head and neck, and a greyish lateral band-like structure; keel weak and only in posterior 15-18 mm; mantle oval, 17-19 mm long (preserved); posterior margin more pointed; sole whitish or yellowish white, subdivided in 3 longitudinal sections.
Internal: Shell oval, with nucleus laterally situated.
Size:
43-53 x 11-15 mm (preserved).
Distribution:
Italy (Eolian islands).
Type Locality: Italy: Eolian islands, Isola di Salina, S. Maria Salina.
