Metalimax elegans (Simroth, 1896) [or Simroth, 1901?]
Morphology:
External: Medium slugs with narrow bodies; keel present; mantle 1/3 body length with a broad cephalic shield and a pointed posterior end; pneumostome antemedial on mantle (Schileyko 2003).
Internal: 3-looped intestine with long caecum on third small loop; vas deferens attached about to apex to penis; long, tubular penis; no appendix or flagellum on penis; longitudinal pilaster inside penis; short oviduct; spermatheca with minimal duct (Schileyko 2003). .
Size:
To 40 mm long, preserved (Sysoev & Schileyko 2009).
Distribution:
S extensions of Great Caucasus mountains in W Georgia and Abkhazia (Likharev & Schileyko, MS; in Sysoev & Schileyko 2009).
