Valiguna flava (Heynemann, 1885)
External: Large and ovate; light yellow-brown to dark red-brown body, with a few black spots and a light mid-dorsal longitudinal line; smooth notum with sparse granules on skin; hyponotum same color as notum but always lighter and few or no spots; female genital opening at 45% from anterior, 2/5 width of hyponotum from the sole; slight black line around female opening; narrow, pale beige sole less than half the with of one of the hyponotum sides (Gomes et al. 2008).
Internal: Jaw consists of about 24 wide ribs; pedal gland (on sole under head) short, straight, and yellow, with a wider proximal section, narrow middle, and rounded posterior; penis with a differentiated base and glans; penis gland consists of a flap around middle of penis, forming a cylinder that curves into the apex, and a cylinder on the apex which is covered with dentations and serrations; penial gland small, length of penis; penial gland consists of fairly long papilla and 15 short tubules; vas deferens attached at apex of penis; spermatheca rounded with a concavity in the middle, and a duct slightly longer than itself; canalis junctor passes through middle of spermatheca duct; oviduct wider towards its base (Gomes et al. 2008).
Preserved to 70 mm long, 29 mm wide, sole 5.5 mm wide, hyponotum side 8 mm wide (Gomes et al. 2008).

Found on forest floor; near dead logs (Gomes et al. 2008).
