External: Yellow-tan body; 10 shallow lateral grooves (mostly unbranched) on either side of dorsum; anus with pre- and post-anal grooves; low papillae circled by black spots in skin; head shield not touching mantle; blunt, rounded tail; off-white sole and hyponotum (Burton 1963, 1980).Internal: Jaw with wide central plate, a narrow median cusp, and short, rounded wings; fairly short oviduct; oviductal gland attached to posterior end of oviduct; spermatheca attached to middle of oviduct (Burton 1980).
