Morphology:
External: Mantle has a red / red-brown midline band and two side bands, and body has strong red-brown radiating bands, sometimes with a longitudinal white stripe on each side (Verdcourt 1960).
Internal: Spermatheca and duct shorter than penis, same length as dart sac; 7 lateral retractor muscles and 1 apical retractor muscle on dart sac (Verdcourt 1960).
Juveniles: Gray with two white stripes on dorsum and black stripes on mantle [="pallial"?] (Verdcourt 1960).
Size:
47 mm long (Verdcourt 1960).
