Deroceras (Deroceras) neuteboomi Forcart, 1972
Endemic species of Rodos island.
External: Slug light meat-coloured; mantle covered with dark grey spots; dorsum behind mantle with fine spots forming a reticulate pattern; no spots in the middle of dorsum; mantle length more than 50 % of body.
Internal: Albumin gland reaching anteriorly to mantle margin; penis elongated or pear-shaped; no appendages on penis; no lateral constriction on penis; retractor muscle inserted close to vas deferens outlet, slightly anteriorly from the posterior end of the penis; stimulator flat with wide base; spermatheca and its duct roughly equal to penis length; no caecum on rectum.
Up to 12 x 2.5 mm (preserved).
Greece: Ródos.
Type locality: Greece: Rodos, Lindos.
Not much known on habitat and ecology; was found at conglomerate rocks near streams.
