Deroceras (Deroceras) cazioti (Pollonera, 1896)
Morphology:
External: Brown-black body and mantle with no patterns; lighter sides; cream sole (Wiktor 2000).
Internal: Penis curved in an S-shape, with a rounded basal part and a narrower apical part; penis with muscular, thick walls and some "silky, glittering" portions; vas deferens and muscular retractor attached at halfway point on side of penis; gland with multiple, smooth loops and covered by a membrane on penis apex (loops are just threads in juveniles); conical stimulator inside penis; no rectal caecum (Wiktor 2000).
Size:
To 39 mm long (Wiktor 2000); preserved 19-20 mm long (Hoffmann 1929 in Wiktor 2000).
Distribution:
Corsica (Italy) (Wiktor 2000).
Habitat:
Found at 400-950 m altitude; garden, meadow, forest (Wiktor 2000).
