Hemphillia dromedarius Branson, 1972
External: Slender-bodied; gray body with cream mottling on sides; tail flat and with a keel; lacking a pale mid-dorsal stripe on tail; caudal horn on tail tip; sole orange-yellow to yellow to cream.
Internal: Long, thin epiphallus; penis club-shaped, with wide apex narrowing toward base; large verge in penis apex; penial retractor muscle joined to basal section of epiphallus; small accessory sac joined to base of penis; spermatheca rounded with a thick duct; short oviduct; no atrium (Ovaska et al. 2002).
Eggs: Oval, laid in clusters in rotting wood (Forsyth 2004); laid in fall in clusters, similar to the habit of H. malonei.
