Gigantomilax (Vitrinoides) koenigi (Simroth, 1912)
External: Medium slugs; mantle ¼ body length; brown to yellow-brown body; characteristic dark brown stripes (often becoming spots), one on either side closely parallel to keel and continuing onto mantle; pale, strong keel on 2/3 dorsum before mantle; peumostome medial/post-medial and with a dark brown edge; pointed posterior edge of mantle; wrinkles in fan shape from mantle (Schileyko 2003; Schütt 2010).
Internal: Short, globular penis contains a sphincter but no stimulator; penial retractor and one retentor muscle present (Schileyko 2003).
To 95 mm long (Sysoev & Schileyko 2009); contracted body to 66 mm (Schileyko 2003).

High alpine meadows, river banks, rocky places; under and in cracks in rocks (Schütt 2010).
